About Us
We are Girdwood's local ski and bike shop. Our ski-in, ski-out location is the prime hub for skiers and riders!
Powder Hound carries over 70 brands of outerwear, skis, binding, boots, bikes and accessories. We also service bikes and skis to perfection. If you need to rent a bike or skis for a day or a week, we’ve got you covered.
We are experts when it comes to skiing or riding. Our staff is required to ski and ride on a regular basis to ensure that they are testing the product they sell! This means they know exactly what they’re talking about when it comes to gear.
With over 20 years of combined boot fitting experience, we know how to make a boot feel and perform at its highest level.
Services
We are an all-encompassing bike and ski shop. We offer different services for the rider, snowboarder or skier.

Location
We are located at the base of Mt. Alyeska next to the bunny slope for Alyeska Resort. We are also across the street from Jack Sprat.
