Our story began in 2001 with Frans and Jen Weits, two passionate Michiganders drawn to Alaska's majestic mountains. They founded Jack Sprat in the heart of the Girdwood Valley with a simple yet bold mission: to create a welcoming space where people of all dietary preferences could gather and dine together. Here, meat lovers and vegans find harmony on the same menu—proving that great food unites us all.
