Alyeska Winter Carnival and Slush Cup

The 2026 Alyeska Spring Carnival with the Slush Cup is scheduled for 24-26 April! Get Ready!

Spring Carnival

Don’t miss this fun-filled weekend in Girdwood! It’s on the third weekend in April when the conditions for Spring are the best! The Spring Carnival hosts a number of crazy events from downhill biking, the dummy races to the famous tug-o-war. But the most popular is the Slush Cup Competition. This is a 40+ year tradition where adventurous skiers and snowboarders fly down Chair 3 Road in crazy costumes, as they attempt to make it across a pool of freezing slushy water. It’s the highlight of the weekend and should not be missed!

Parking may be limited. Car pool as much as possible and be aware that parking at the resort may not be possible.
