About Us
The Ice Cream Shop has served the Girdwood Community for over 25 years. We love serving guests our unique ice cream treats and our fabulous espresso drinks. Come in and try our delicious ice cream with coffee for an extra treat.
We love nothing more than giving back to our small, wonderful Girdwood community. We actively support Mighty Mites Ski Club and local non-profits.
We have a large collection of historical photos from the Girdwood Valley and love talking about our town. So, come on in, grab a treat, and peruse our local photo gal!ery. You’ll be happy you did because who doesn’t love Ice Cream!

We have over 35 different flavors of Ice Cream and many of them are uniquely Alaskan. Come in and try these local favorites: Fireweed & Honey and Alaskan Wildberry!
“Fireweed and honey ice cream rules my brain. I had it one time and I still dream about it. Had a scoop of that and a scoop of glacier which is like gingerbread and had always been my favorite flavor ice cream until fireweed. I was not disappointed. Amazing ice cream! I'd live through the four hellish flights to AK again for this alone!”
We have ice cream, sundaes, smoothies, shakes, malts, and non-dairy treats for our lactose intolerant customers!
