Swift Adventures

About Us

Wa are the only Stand Up Paddle (SUP) in SouthCentral Alaska! The river SUP scene is a relatively new form of paddling and the newest rage. Thanks to improved technology of the gear more people can explore this brand-new sport. We offer group trips for all levels and skills.

Why Us?

Experience! Scott Swift has coast-to-coast paddling experience including the Olympic Peninsula, rivers in Oregon, Washington, Maine, Florida, Minnesota, Arizona, California, Colorado, multiple Hawaiian locations, all over Mexico and in Costa Rica. He has organized and executed camping and paddling trips for large groups of friends and family for many years to remote locations around Alaska and the lower forty-eight states.

SUP offers a unique experience to explore Alaska. You will see icebergs, glaciers and some of the most breathtaking views on the river. The thrill of doing it on a paddle board makes it so much more enticing!

Best Technology for Safety

Our whitewater boards are all inflatable, specifically designed to use in swift current and made by Hala from Colorado. They are rockered from tip to tail for riding moving water and have retractable center fins in case you should hit the bottom. They are 36 inches wide making them ultra stable and 9’6” long making them short enough to manuever quickly. This technology allows us to have the fun factor much higher than on an ordinary SUP.

Wet provide you with top quality wetsuits or our new Gull drysuits depending on the weather. We also provide neoprene booties or water shoes with neoprene socks and gloves if needed.
